VAC BRAND

 

The VAC Brand program is designed for producers who will work their calves only one time at branding when they are 2 - 4 months old and cannot work their calves again prior to shipping.

 

Vaccination requirements are:

 

*IBR, PI3, BVD, BRSV viral vaccine (see note)

*Clostridial 7 Way (Blackleg)

*Pasteurella Haemolytica and/or Multocida

 

VAC ONCOW

 

The VAC OnCow program is designed for producers who will gather and vaccinate their calves 3 to 4 weeks prior to shipping.  This program also requires the full array of shots in the VAC Brand program or at least a 7 Way shot at branding.

 

Vaccination requirements are:

 

*IBR, PI3, BVD, BRSV viral vaccine (see note)

*Clostridial 7 Way (Blackleg)

*Pasteurella Haemolytica and/or Multocida

 

VAC WEAN

 

The VAC Wean program is designed for producers who will gather and administer shots to their calves 2 - 4 weeks prior to weaning as well as give booster shots at weaning time.

 

Vaccination requirements 2 - 4 weeks prior to weaning are:

 

*IBR, PI3, BVD, BRSV viral vaccine (see note)

*Clostridial 7 Way (Blackleg)

*Pasteurella Haemolytica and/or Multocida

 

Booster vaccination requirements at weaning are:

 

*IBR, PI3, BVD, BRSV viral vaccine (see note)

*Pasteurella Haemolytica and/or Multocida

 

VAC WEANPLUS

 

The VAC WeanPlus program is designed for producers who will administer shots to their calves at weaning as well as give booster shots according to label instructions. In this program, calves must be backgrounded at least 45 days before shipping.

 

Vaccination requirements at weaning are:

 

*IBR, PI3, BVD, BRSV viral vaccine (see note)

*Clostridial 7 Way (Blackleg)

*Pasteurella Haemolytica and/or Multocida

 

Booster vaccination requirements post-weaning are:

 

*IBR, PI3, BVD, BRSV viral vaccine (see note)

*Pasteurella Haemolytica and/or Multocida

 

VAC PRECON

 

The VAC PreCon program is designed for calves that have come from various sources and are offered for sale together. Calves must be backgrounded for at least 45 days, be vaccinated upon arrival and boostered according to label instructions.

 

Calves must receive 2 (two) doses of the following:

 

*IBR, PI3, BVD, BRSV viral vaccine (see note)

*Clostridial 7 Way (Blackleg)

*Pasteurella Haemolytica and/or Multocida

 

NOTE:

All IBR and PI3 vaccines must be chemically altered modified live or modified live with veterinarians approval. Killed vaccine is not acceptable.

 

BVD and BRSV vaccines can be killed or modified live.
